The 2009 14U Bulldawgs team, managed by Andy Tarpley, and trained by Andy, Mike Neu and Marshall Murray, went undefeated (4-0) at the Twin Creeks MLK tournament Janury 17-18, 2009 in Sunnyvale and won their season opening tournament besting eight other teams. This win qualifies the team for the state championship held in early summer.

The first victory was against our neighbors from San Ramon (a 12-0 shutout), followed by a 19-0 shutout of the West Coast Federals, a come from behind nail-biter 4-3 win in the semi finals against Redwood City Highlanders, and then a 16-6 convincing victory in the championship game over the Tri-Valley Babe Ruth Program, which encompasses several local cities (Danville, San Ramon, Dublin, Livermore and Pleasanton) and included many high school freshmen.
